The power of hypochlorous acid from a salt solution
The active substance is hypochlorous acid (HOCl), which is produced by the electrodialysis of a salt solution. It is a natural oxidant that the human immune system also creates in white blood cells. It works through an osmotic effect: it dehydrates microorganisms, disrupts their envelope and destroys them. Salt ions support the process while remaining gentle to human and animal cells, without irritation.
